There is one owner of the property at present, an Australian citizen, living in Bali who has been involved in the business on Gili Meno for over 14 years. He also owns another boutique resort just 600 meters from the beach resort.
There are many synergies that can be taken advantage of such as reduced staffing levels and costs that are achieved through this mutual resort cooperation.
A significant investment in the resort was made during 2018 with the construction of seven stunning waterfront apartments and improvements to the Beach gazeboes and other relaxation areas.
In 2018 seven waterfront apartments were constructed along with a new reception, bar and guests toilets. In addition to this, a traditional Bamboo and alang alang pavilion were added for restaurant services on the waterfront. To compliment the restaurant, 5 Gazebos and other ancillary structures were built alongside the restaurant for guests to relax and enjoy their food and beverages at one of the best locations on the island.
The vacant land behind the existing apartments (owned by the resort) will allow for ten new rooms, a 12-meter swimming pool and a pavilion for guests to relax by the pool. The construction for this part of the resort will start as soon the first investor comes on board.
